Collaboration
Miratek Elektrik maintains an ongoing engineering partnership with Armagan Muhendislik on electrical design, medium voltage (MV) cable line installation and transformer substation refurbishment for power plants and industrial facilities. The collaboration spans an end-to-end scope, from the design of in-plant power distribution infrastructure to on-site MV cabling and the standards-compliant renewal of existing transformer substations. With its industrial electrical contracting track record and MV system expertise up to 35 kV, Miratek combines the engineering strength of both companies on joint projects.
Challenge
In projects at power plant scale, the electrical infrastructure must simultaneously satisfy continuous power demand, high reliability expectations and full compliance with TEDAS/EMRA (EPDK) regulations and IEC standards. Refurbishing existing transformer substations is a delicate process that must be carried out without disrupting the facility's power continuity. Selecting the correct routes for MV cable lines, producing designs verified by short-circuit and voltage drop calculations, and ensuring the site implementation matches the design exactly constitute the project's most critical engineering challenges.
The Miratek Solution
In coordination with Armagan Muhendislik, Miratek addressed the plant's electrical infrastructure end to end. Design work was completed on the basis of single-line diagrams, load flow and short-circuit analyses; MV cable lines were planned with the correct cross-sections and routes and installed in the field. Transformer substation refurbishments, MV switchgear cubicle renewal and protection relay coordination were executed in phases to preserve the facility's power continuity. All work was delivered with complete technical documentation, in accordance with IEC standards, TEDAS/EMRA (EPDK) regulations and ISO 9001:2015 quality processes.
