Collaboration
We maintain a comprehensive engineering collaboration with Vekmar on the low voltage (LV) distribution panels, motor control centers (MCC) and factory electrical infrastructure modernization that form the power backbone of industrial production facilities. At Miratek, we took on the process end to end — from panel design matched to the facility's load profile to IEC 61439-compliant manufacturing, and from on-site installation to commissioning. The goal was to ensure the production lines run on an uninterrupted, safe and efficient power infrastructure.
Challenge
In production facilities, the electrical infrastructure is a critical component with little tolerance for line stoppages. Vekmar needed an LV distribution and MCC infrastructure that could safely supply its growing production capacity while accommodating motor loads, reactive power compensation needs and future expansion. The site constraints of working within an operating facility, the panels' full compliance with international standards, and the requirement to commission without disrupting production formed the project's principal challenges.
The Miratek Solution
Miratek followed an engineering approach that began with the facility's load analysis and single-line diagrams. The LV distribution panels and motor control centers were engineered to the IEC 61439 standard and produced in our own manufacturing processes. Selectivity within the panels and protection coordination were planned meticulously; reactive power compensation was integrated into the infrastructure to improve power quality. On-site installation, cabling and functional tests were phased to minimize interruption to the production flow, and commissioning was completed with systematic testing.

What types of panels did Miratek manufacture for Vekmar?+
Main and sub-distribution panels were manufactured for the Vekmar production facility, primarily low voltage (LV) distribution panels and motor control centers (MCC). The panels were designed and produced in compliance with the IEC 61439 standard, and their on-site installation and commissioning were carried out by Miratek.
Which standards govern panel manufacturing?+
Miratek bases its work on the international IEC 61439 standard for low voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies. Design, material selection, protection coordination and testing are carried out within this framework, safeguarding the panels' safety, durability and performance.
Does factory power infrastructure modernization halt production?+
Modernization work is planned in phases to minimize its impact on the production flow. Site survey, installation and commissioning steps are coordinated with the facility's operating schedule, and critical transitions are organized to keep downtime to a minimum.
What is the role of MCC (motor control center) panels in industrial facilities?+
Motor control centers provide centralized supply, protection and control of the motors in a facility. A properly engineered MCC offers protection coordination, easy maintenance and safe operation, contributing to the uninterrupted and efficient running of production equipment.
