In a data center, the electrical infrastructure is a critical layer that directly determines business continuity. The current and projected IT load, criticality level, and growth plan are evaluated to set the redundancy target.

The single-line diagram, load distribution, UPS and generator sizing, and panel designs are prepared.

Equipment procurement

UPS, generator, panel, and busbar systems are procured against approved technical specifications, and factory acceptance tests are followed up.

Site installation

Cabling, panel installation, busbar works, and grounding are planned and executed to minimize operational downtime.

Testing and commissioning

Real-load simulation is performed with a load bank, and outage and transfer scenarios are verified one by one.

Maintenance and operations support

A periodic maintenance plan, thermal camera inspections, and battery health monitoring safeguard the continuity of the infrastructure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should we choose an N+1 or a 2N architecture for our data center?

The decision depends on the criticality of the load carried and the acceptable downtime risk. An N+1 architecture tolerates a single component failure, while a 2N architecture provides two fully independent supply paths and maintains full redundancy even during maintenance. At the survey stage, we run a load analysis and evaluate the cost-risk balance of both options together with you.

Can the electrical infrastructure be renewed while our existing system room is live?

Yes — such works are carried out with a staged migration plan. The new infrastructure is built alongside the existing system, loads are transferred step by step during planned maintenance windows, and a rollback scenario is kept ready at every step. This keeps operational downtime to a minimum.

Which tests are performed before commissioning?

The system is run under real load with a load bank; UPS transfer times, generator start scenarios, and grid outage drills are verified one by one. All results are documented in test reports and added to the handover file.
